I actually recommend following the Best of Hacker News Telegram channel for daily updates; I personally read it every day.

Originally made Hacker News Jobs Newsletter because I didn’t want to miss any interesting posts. Also, I was looking for a job at the time.

Put together a Python script which scrapes HN and generates formatted HTML. Every week, I paste it into Substack and click “send.”

After a year, it felt like high time for some more automation. Made a Telegram channel, rolled together a Rust binary, and deployed everything on a Render Cloud cron job.

Once again, I personally like the Telegram channel more, if regular updates are your thing.
